Is Heart Disease related to Snoring

Recent studies show that snoring causes lots of problems regarded to heart like diabetes and smoking. The problems occurring during sleep or interruptions during sleep is the result of snoring which cause small disrupting in inhalation leading to deprivation of oxygen.This in turn produces stress on heart. Snoring causes the interruptions in the sleep leading to frequent fluctuations during sleep and makes the heart to put more effort.

Since oxygen get reduced during snoring  heart muscles get tighten up and pumping becomes difficult. Advanced stage of snoring includes loud noise due to snoring, sleepiness, breathing struggles etc. These are symptoms of sleep apnea.

This leads to hypertension and thereby causes heart problems.

Thus if snoring is curbed there is a way of stopping any heart disease.

Vocal Exercises to Cure Snoring

Snoring is a problem occurring very commony these days. Vocal exercises also offer good scope for preventing them. They don’t allow the throat muscles to relax and prevent any kind of contacts between them. These exercises should be done frequently to see the improvement.

Singing: Singing is one of the remedies for snoring. Singing aloud stops the relaxation of throat muscles and tightens them up. CDs available at market for vocal exercises are not so important when you yourself can try out singing your voice out. Many recent studies shows that singing for three months can reduce snoring but not sleep apnea.It doesn’t matter how you sing or what style or kind of song you sing singing alone matters for reduction in snoring.

Yawning: Tightening the throat muscles and preventing any relaxation of it leads to reduced snoring.This vocal exercise  provides a good remedy for snoring.

Chewing a thing like pen: Just chew a pe or pencil to keep the throat and mouth in position nd avoid relaxation of throat muscles and soft tissues.Thus the blockages in the mouth are avoided enhancing better passage of air.

Snoring during pregnancy

Pregnancy brings different changes emotionally and physically. The estrogen which becomes the common hormone in the women during pregnancy causes relaxation of muscles in the neck and leads to snoring habits.

Few weeks of Gestation marks the occurrence of snoring. However this can be avoided by resting sideways during sleeping as it relieves them of any weight and also snoring.

Sometimes severe snoring leads to sleep apnea which involves breaks in breathing of nearly 10 seconds. This interval can cause the reduction of oxygen and leads to many complications.  Complications during pregnancy include preeclampsia where the Blood pressure of the person shoots up, increase in proteins in urine and swelling.

Frequent vomiting, giddiness, aching head, unclear vision, deterioration of the performance of the liver, etc. are the symptoms and problems caused by preeclampsia. The weight of the person matters in this snoring problems.

Little more than half of the total pregnant women having the habit of snoring find swelling of legs,face,hands,etc than one-third of women who didn’t snore.14% snoring women had hypertension.

Reduction of oxygen in pregnant women causes improper growth or death of fetus. The Snoring women’s child are known to have lower weight of the child and other problems.Snoring in pregnant women is a bad state of physical health for both child and the mother.

Frequent medical check-ups and consulting a doctor will surely help in this problem of snoring.
